The Plant Sale was Milngavie in Bloom’s first public event for 18 months and like all activities since lockdown was out doors. It was a great opportunity to meet friends and helpers, most of whom have been working in small groups during the pandemic. The Sale raised £800 and we are very grateful to the help from St Andrew’s Church for the use of their lovely garden, Tim Rhead, Chair MIB.
The wonderful flower displays in planters and beds in and around the village are very much enjoyed by our local community and the work of all the MIB volunteers is very much appreciated.
