Last month fifteen of us plus dogs Ted, Trixie and Acer, enjoyed a leisurely walk at Mugdock. We were blessed with dry weather amidst a day of wind and rain! Acer found a discarded cardboard food box containing some remains probably left by film crew from recent filming at the park. Contents were enthusiastically munched & the box would have also disappeared too had it not been retrieved! Also left from filming was a vintage cart. Wilma was quite taken with it and wondered if she could climb on her a ride!
After our walk, the large table set out for us at Caulder’s with warm sun streaming through the windows, was very welcome for afternoon tea, scones & cakes, including the strawberry and cream meringue which Tim had his eye on when he had spotted them earlier.
All in all, a very pleasant afternoon with some exercise, good conversation and time to relax with refreshments together afterwards. Thanks to Tim and Jane for organising the walk and leading the way.
