At 7pm on Sunday, St Andrew’s participated in the National Call to Prayer from the Scottish Church Leaders’ Forum, inviting Christians across Scotland to pray and place a candle in a window in response to the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. We are grateful to Robert who lit and attended candles in our church windows as a symbol of the light of life, Jesus Christ, the source of hope in this life and bringing a sense of peace.
May the light shining from our windows,
across road and wynd, glen and ben, kyle and isle,
be reflected in our hearts and hands and hopes.
