On Sunday, Andrea, our rector, pointed out that St Luke emphasized Jesus’s ministry to the poor, the oppressed, the marginalised and the sick, and that he was not the powerful, political figure who people expected. In the eyes of God, we are all equal and valued as individuals.
Services continue on Sundays at 10 am and Thursdays also at 10 am, with the inter-church prayer meeting in the Garden Room at the back of the hall on Tuesdays at 10 am. We are looking forward to restarting coffee after church next Sunday, and on Thursdays we now go to Friendship House after the service. Plans are being made for a Snowdrop Walk on Saturday February 12th, followed by soup in the church hall. Details will be on the church website.
