Clare and Sophie were great weaving tutors demonstrating how to set up our looms and how to then weave as well as adding a fringe and loops for texture. Once we had mastered setting up our looms, the weaving itself was surprisingly easy. It was fascinating to watch it grow. There was a wonderful assortment of wools to choose from so that everyone’s weaving creation was very unique.
We even had a new Dorcas member when Andrea’s gorgeous new pup came to visit. Many thanks to Clare and Sophie for introducing us to this new craft and also to Caroline for the delicious cake!
