We celebrated St Andrew’s Patronal Festival on Friday evening with a Eucharist service followed by fellowship over a fish and chip supper. John Drane preached an inspiring and challenging sermon focusing on Jesus’s call to Andrew. He related Andrew’s skills as a fisherman to the movement of Fresh Expressions today when the skills of individuals help people engage with faith.
Jet lag didn’t deter George Farrow who was in great form on the organ, even though he had only just returned from Australia!
