Happily prayers were answered and the rain that was forecast turned to sunny spells last Saturday when folk gathered for a summer tea hosted by Andrea and Stephen.

There was a delicious spread of scones, strawberries, cream and other mouth watering sandwiches & home baking.
Plants were on sale as well as more home baking & there were even scones and baking left over for refreshments after the service the following day.

Games were organised by Stephen in the garden including a unique log chopping game at which George excelled!
Thanks to all who baked, those who transported, set up and laid the tables, Andrea, Stephen, Rich & others who prepared the house and garden for the event and lastly to all who came to share food, fun and fellowship marking the start of June and hopefully a warm & sunny summer ahead.
