Here is a photo of Andrea standing in our secret garden in front of our beautiful memorial tree to Ruth Andrews. We were once again blessed with fine weather for coffee outside after the service.
Andrea’s message last Sunday focused in particular on the passage from Mark where we hear the wonderful story of the calming of the storm. Marking this wonderful story we sang ‘Jesus calls us o’er the tumult of the wild restless sea’ and this was confirmed later in our service with the world renowned ‘Eternal Father strong to save’, thus we may thank our hymn writers for illustrating the message of the Gospel so vividly. Various embellishments of this last hymn were hammered out on our Bosendorfer with some skill but mainly a lot of noise!
