31st May – Trinity Sunday

1st June 2026

Readings:        Isaiah 40: 12-17           2 Corinthians 13: 11-143        Matthew 28: 16-20

Robin summarised the contexts of each of the readings and highlighted a common theme: even in times of trial, even when things seem beyond our capabilities, faith in God can transform our attitude from despondency to hope. With the creator God and saving God by our side, in the power of the Spirit God, we can be resilient and persistent in sharing the benefits of faith. We might even have the confidence of the dancing interconnected figures which is one interpretation of the Trinity.
