Pentecost 15—First Sunday in the Season of Creation
On Sunday, the service was taken by retired local minister, Kevin Francis. We started using the Creation Liturgy, which we will use for the next few weeks, including for Harvest Thanksgiving on October 4th.
Kevin spoke about the damage which humans have done to the natural world and that God intended that we should take care of his creation.
Post Communion Prayer
Lord God, the source of truth and love,
keep us faithful to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship,
united in prayer and the breaking of bread,
and one in joy and simplicity of heart,
in Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.
